Here’s a treat for dry skin: Ego QV Cream 100g! Ego QV Cream is a moisturising, protective cream that provides deep skin hydration. It replenishes the skin with squalene, a natural component within the skin’s oil to effectively seal the natural moisture. This cream especially targets areas that are prone to intense dryness, like the hands, knees, and elbows. It’s low irritant and works well even with the most sensitive skin to stave off further drying and bring back the skin’s natural moisture. Continued use also addresses and corrects skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, winter itch, and dermatitis.

What is the difference between lotion and cream?
The difference between the two comes down to the water content. Creams and lotions are mixtures of oil and water - the oil component being the most important for dry skin.
Lotions are droplets of oil mixed in water. They have a high water and low oil content. Thus, they are easy to spread on dry skin. But the water is not well absorbed and quickly evaporates.
In contrast, creams are droplets of water mixed in oil. They have a high oil and low water content, making creams harder to smear on dry skin but easily applied on moist skin. Hence, it is best to use your creams immediately after a shower so your skin can soak up the cream. Applying cream then creates a layer of oil that locks the moisture in.
In very dry conditions, it is best to use creams. However, when it is warm and humid, lotions may be a better choice, depending too, on the pre-existing condition of your skin.

A handy size to bring along for travels
I usually bring this size along for holidays in the winter season to avoid the itchiness that comes from the drier climates. Good price.
